Global Impact Investing Rating System (GIIRS) rated entity

In 2015, Greenline obtained a GIIRS gold rating report from the B Lab. GIIRS Ratings are the standard for impact measurement in impact investing. They are rigorous, comprehensive, and comparable ratings of a company or a fund’s social and environmental impact. The GIIRS Rating is powered by the B Impact Assessment. It measures the overall impact of a business and all of its stakeholders. The report provides a rating of the social and environmental impact (not financial performance) of an individual company or fund. It is used by investors to evaluate the impact of their investments in for-profit companies.

Community Investment Impact System (CIIS) Reporting

The Community Investment Impact System (CIIS) is the web-based data collection system that the Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) Fund requires Community Development Entities (CDEs) use to submit their Institution Level Reports (ILRs) and Transaction Level Reports (TLRs) to the Fund. As part of compliance requirements, New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) award recipients under the CDFI Program, such as Greenline, are required to submit information through CIIS within six months after the close of their fiscal year. This includes the ILR and the TLR. The ILR includes information regarding ethnics and geography that a CDE had served, staffing levels, financing status and services and training provided. The TLR includes variables detailing a CDEs financing activities, including loan or investment structure, location, rates and terms, and impacts generated.
